| Reduce your frustration and chance of errors. Financial Aid Data Gathering & Processing of Required Financial Forms This portion of our program is designed to specifically save you hours and hours of frustrating work and preparation. Filling out these forms can be a daunting task and our objective here is to take that off your plate. We know financial aid can be given on a first come first served basis, miss the deadlines or fill out the forms incorrectly and you have a great chance of losing money. We know families are extremely busy and the last thing they have time to do is learn the system, identify the forms, gather the data and figure how to enter it correctly year after year. We have seen families time and time again enter the wrong information, misinterpret the directions or even worse yet wait until the last minute to fill out the financial forms. Asking the financial aid office at school to help you, well that is like asking the IRS to help you fill out your tax forms. As part of our service we will walk through the forms with you. Often we are asked, "But they are free, why do we need to hire someone to help us do these?" Our answer, so are you tax forms, but unless you know the rules and laws inside and out you will probably make a mistake and never even know it. Most families don't know this but your liability or "Financial Aid Tax Rate" is higher than your Federal Income Tax Rate. In other words the Government is assessing you at higher rate to determine your financial aid eligibility than they are for the taxes you owe at the end of the year. Does it pay to get it right? We think so! FINANCIAL AID DATA GATHERING & PROCESSING We will complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form. Register Your Student For The CSS PROFILE If Needed Complete CSS PROFILE & Walk You Through All Supporting Documentation Complete Any Additional Forms Required By The Individual Schools Confirm The Accuracy Of The Student Aid Report (SAR) Make Any Necessary Adjustments To The SAR Provide Protection From Being Overlooked For Grants, Scholarships Or Loans Due To Mistakes in Your Financial Aid Forms Advise And Counsel On Stafford And PLUS Loan Applications We will walk you through any AUDITS or VERIFICATION requests |
